can a president of a company board fire a vice president without a shareholder vote? this is for a project in school. the president fired the vice president but i thought they had to be fired by shareholders

The board decides on corporate officers like the president can fire the short answer is yes the board of directorsnot the vp besides that companies have lot of different vps there usually isnt just one its not like the shareholders elect the president can fire the board.
