Who presides over the Senate when the vice president is being impeacehed?

I would just like to know who presides over the Senate during the impeachment of a vice president, if it ever came down to that? Can the president speak on behalf of the vice president during an impeachment?

    The president pro tem of the president pro tem of the senate would preside.
    The senate would preside.
