can a president of a company board fire a vice president without a shareholder vote? this is for a project in school. the president fired the vice president but i thought they had to be fired by shareholders

if the answer is no, is there any case this can happen(other then the president has majority shares!)?
so when the president fires the vice president, is he still a director?

also what is the president and the vice president duties in the company?

With all of the political posturing of the candidates, rhetoric and promise making. What can we as the people do to best put the right person into the office that is considered the highest in the land? That being the office of the President and Vice President of the United States of America.

Or, possibly better put, what does the Constitution say that they can and can not do and how do we as voters know when their promises are beyond the scope of office?

I really think that if Hillary wins the primary election, she should choose Evan Bayh from Indiana to run as her Vice President. He is a lot more conservative. And the Democrats need to move from the far left closer to the center. Hillary is definitely more liberal and will need a more conservative running mate in the fall if she hopes to win.
